Thanks, and hi Jessica. There a couple that I haven't read yet, but I've pretty much heard of all of them.....I have to limit myself on how much I read or it's all I do, lol. Oh and it's cool about the not welcoming on the other site, Plenty of people did. I was really surprised by it. I'm working on a siggy to match the Maven thing....gimme a week and I should have something decent

Good that they did.
Another banner? *Looks wistfully at all the nice banners on here.* I hope you like it's creation! & on that reading comment - I'm the same. If I read too much, most times I become oblivious to what's happening around me. It's healthy if I'm not obsessed with it . . . I suppose . . . *Grimaces.*

I feel your pain. I read books like some people sit in front of the t.v. all day. *whispers* I think I'll go check out what all of you have posted (banner wise)

That's exactly how it is! & I wouldn't complain either. *Mutters darkly about irritating beings that thrive of interrupting my reading.*
Banner-wise? Here? *Chuckles.* There is going to be a full blown thread of entire banners soon, but it isn't up yet. - My times being munched on via setting up of threads for Gena's books. *Whispers right back.* So, I don't think you'll find that many around yet!

Oh *turns red* Okay......I'll just wait a while then. *snickers* No rush..... There needs to be a law in place for people who like to interupt others while reading

*Grins like a lune.* I know. But thank you for letting me know. *Snorts.* Not like I have much time on my hands is it?! *Lips twitch.*
Don't worry. Counting on putting that thread up near on this week end. I've collected all the banners I can!
Gods, yes. Definitely! *Nods head rapidly.* That would so solve the problem with those termites! Nothing like the good 'ole threat of the law hanging over their heads.

O.O...What there needs to be is a law that says Adalee can't spend more than...$20?...a week on books. ~pouts~ I went in to the bookstore today because I got paid...and bought Bad Moon Rising! ~flails arms in the air and stomps feet in a fit of excitement~ ~forces self to calm down~ *ahem*...uhhhh, yeah...anyway that book cost...~lip quivers~...$31.99! But it was so worth it... But then...~crocodile tears stream down face~....I bought 7 other books...which brought my total to 100 freakin' dollars!!! ~dies~ Aparently, in my world, books are more important than food. ~strokes copy of Bad Moon Rising lovingly and pouts~ ...I need help...

So do I. I may not be able to buy books that often but I freak out everytime I hear about a book I want but can't have. *Looks at Adalee with jealousy*
I so want to buy more books but I don't have a freakin job, not to mention I don't even get allowance anymore for doing chores... Which totally sucks because I would be spending every penny of it on books. I don't even know why my mom stopping giving us allowances, couldn't be the fact that she is even more broke than me.
In that case well-fare should have thing where they feed readers but instead of money for food, it would be money for books. I mean come on, the government is almost always complaining that kids don't read enough. So give money for books to kids who actually WANT to read but can't because said government keeps taking their parents money. They're also dumb jerks for listening to an even more dumb alcoholic....*Just walks away without explaining that last statement*
I think I need to rant later... again...

~nods in agreement~ I copmletely agree with you luvs. And honestly...don't be jealous. ~chuckles~ I may have a few new books now, but I also have to pay for a house, a car, medical bills, animals to take care of, food, gas, cable...the list goes on and on. I really can't[/c] afford books the way that I buy them. I went this last week living off of tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches all because I spend all of my grocery money on books last week. ~sighs~
...I am so tired of tomato soup...

Yikes... I know how it feels living off of one thing. I tried living off of jello and ice cream when my wisdom teeth were taken out, it was the most horrible week of my life. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Anyways, you do have a point about you having to pay for all that stuff and yet spending your money on books instead. I'll probably end up the same way if I keep up finding more and more books I want.

~shrugs~ Well, books make me happy. And there are MANY other things that I could be spending my money on that are MUCH worse than books. ~nods~
