Wow...just...wow. I am in LOVE with this series! And Jacquelyn Frank...Gods...she is such an amazing writer. She has the ability to write with so much descriptive power that her world becomes alive as you're reading. And I love how she puts so much focus on her characters' thoughts and inner most feelings. You feel like you really get to know each and every character...more so than any other series that I have read. Jacob...~drools~...There is no word that is perfect enough to decribe Jacob. As the Enforcer he is power, intensity, authority...abolute unadulterated male dominance. ~shivers~ But as Bella's Imprinted mate he is passion, tenderness and a calming shelter. And Bella...she is a damned flaming force to be messed with. Calm and rational, she is the perfect counterbalance to Jacob's sometimes eruptive raison d'être. I love both of these characters...and love them even more as a couple. By the end of the book I was SO happy that Jacob finally had someone to love him, after centuries of being secluded from his demon-kind. Being the kind-hearted demon that he is, I couldn't stand that he was treated with so much condescension...even by his own brother. I thought that it was SOOOOOO cute the way that Bella was so offended at the way Jacob was constantly in her thoughts. But I love the idea that Imprinted mates could sense what their other was feeling and sensing...even thinking. The whole Druid thing was such an interesting twist in the story. ~nods~ When Isabella and Jacob returned to Bella's home in New York and found her sister dying because she had been unknowingly seperated from her Imprinted mate, Kane, and was literally starving to death without his energy...I was like...Oh...em...gee. O.O And then...when Legna was Summoned during the "wedding" ceremony! ~dies~ I was like...NOOOOOOOOOOO! I was so frightened for her! But then when Bella disappeared with her...I was even more NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Damned Necromancers! Ruining Jacob and Isabella's special night! ~snorts in a very unlady-like manner~ How rude... Anyway...this series is an absolute must read. It just gets better from here...and I promise that both Jacob and Bella will win your hearts. 4.5 out of 5 stars!  |

Wow, Adalee this series sounds hot. I read this and just had to have a look at it on Amazon. The books sounds really good, and I am desperately in need of a new series. Now I'm gonna be in Lords withdrawal all winter, grr.

~laughs at legion~ Oh yes...this series really is hot. You ABSOLUTELY have to read it! I'm sure you will love the Nightwalkers just as much...or at least almost as much...~snickers~...as the Lords.
