~long sigh~ Well...I'm currently working on making this message board AWESOME!...so I'm not reading anything at the moment. ~laughs~
I did just finish reading Dream Warrior from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series and am waiting patiently for Bad Moon Rising...which is being released in less than two weeks! ~claps and jumps up and down~
O.o...~clears throat~ Yes...I get excited about my books.
Gena Showalter's Alien Huntress series just arrived a couple days ago, so that will no doubt be my next endeavor. I am itching to start reading the series now...but I have lots of work to do here...so I suppose I can withstand the torture for a couple of days...~laughs~

Okay...so I have been focusing my time on my story and to this site and the new website I am going to put up, and I have been neglecting my books. So, I started reading Awaken Me Darkly, the first book in the Alien Huntress series by Gena Showalter. I intend to read through the four books in the series like a mo-fo. I only have 3 days to read 4 books, because the book Bad Moon Rising is going to be out August 4th and I HAVE to read it! ~laughs~
I just went out today and bought the Elemental Witches series by Anya Bast and the Nightwalkers series by Jacquelyn Frank. I am SO excited for both of these series! ~claps~ The question is...which should I read first? ~narrows eyes and taps chin in thought~

Just finished Seduce the Darkness, the fourth adult installment within the Alien Huntress series by Gena Showalter & bought Bad Moon Rising (by Sherrilyn Kenyon) also via online. *Pouts.* Which means, unfortunately for the book store, me reducing into a maddened, infuriated gone-without-my-fixture-for books otherworlder. *Cackles.* I despise it when my books don't arrive when anticipated! Living where I do, Bad Moon --- isn't due out until the 6th & then apparently they have the "ability" to dispatch it until the near end of this month. *Kicks online site.* Argh!
As for what series you should start first Addy . . . . I opt for the Elemental Witches series by Anya. I think it gives a chance to absorb & delve into a new world besides from vampires and aliens. An eye-opener I suppose.

Yeah, and it's a shorter series, so it won't take me long to get through it anyway. But I can't wait to start The Nightwalkers series. Mmmm...there is just something about Demons that makes my blood boil. ~shivers~

I just literally, like a half hour ago, finished A Hunger Like No Other but Gena Showalter(Of course). Definitely loved it, though I hated the fact that it took Emma so long to fall in love with Lachlain. Jeez, if I saw him all hot and sexy, I'd be in his arms ready for anything in less than a second flat.
Anyways, I've been trying to finish A Quick Bite by Lynsay Sands, I just have a few chapters left but I haven't been wanting to read it. As a matter of fact, I barely remember what happened in the book its been so long since I started it. Oh well, I guess I'll eventually finish it and then begin the next one Love Bites.
Sometime next week my sister is ordering Blacklisted for me and then I'll probably have to wait a week for it to arrive. (Perfect time to read A Quick Bite and Love Bites, I guess??). And then the week I get Blacklisted, she's gonna order me either Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon, At Grave's End by Jeaniene Frost or Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh. I can't make up my mind, they all sound so good and I can only order one of the three. Hopefully I figure it out by then.
Now off to do my research on colleges. *Runs off unusually eager*

~scowls at Sordid~ I did not say I am reading the Nightwalkers series first...I simply said that I can't wait to read it. ~chuckles~ I am going to read the Elemental Witches series first, cause they won't take me long to read, and because I like to torture myself. ~grins with a sadistic gleam in eye~
~laughs at luvs~ I understand your predicament. All of those books are fantastic. Of course I would say order Fantasy Lover...but that's only because I can absolutely vouche that the Dark-Hunter series is uber awesome. Definately top 3 for me, along with LOTU and IAD. But, I have a biased opinion...I haven't actually read the other two books/series yet. So when i say they are all fantastic books...what I really mean to say is they are all fantastic books...so I've heard...~smirks~

I finally just finished A quick bite from th Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands... Took me long enough, right?
Next book I'm going to read is the second one to that series, Love Bites. Hopefully today I can order Blacklisted and by next week I can read and finish it.
Maybe I'll start the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris after Blacklisted. Then order and read Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
After that.... *pauses to think*... *crickets start making noises*... I have no idea since I don't have any money until my birthday and my older sister is supposedly kicked out of my house by the end of August, so she won't be buying me books anymore. So I'll have to get back to you one that. *Shrugs shoulders nonchalantly and then goes off to read her book*

~laughs at luvs~ Well, at least you have a few books to keep you busy until you get more money. I'm going to finish reading Enslave Me Sweetly by Gena Showalter. After that I am going to start book three, Savor Me Slowly. ~rubs hads together in anticipation~ I am really excited for that one. ~nods~ I saw an interview Gena did about that book, and Mishka Le'Ace sounds kick ass!  |

Aw... I wanna read it now... even though I haven't read any of the others...yet.
Just finished Dead until Dark by Charlaine Harris, loved it!!! And just started Living Dead in Dallas also by Charlaine Harris
On that note, I saw this episode that reviewed the entire first season of True Blood and sorry but I absolutely hate the show. I mean it goes along with the books but I honestly don't like who they chose for the characters. The only person who actually fit how I was imagining them, was Sookie. Everyone else is nothing compared, half the guys in my opinion aren't even hot. Especially Eric... I imagined him to be one of the bad vampires at the club from Queen of the Damned... You know the one with blonde slicked back hair and wore a red turtle neck sweater and skinny pants(Wow, I can't believe I actually remembered all that up to the last detail and I haven't even seen the movie since about a year ago). But I can't say who they chose is ugly only because the guy my sister likes is actually the younger verison of the actor. Literally, no joke, he is him in the flesh, except younger.

~laughs at luvs~ Very few movies/tv shows are ever as good as the books are, unfortunately. I think it has to do with the fact that so many people are disappointed with who plays the characters because everyone has a different image of them in their heads. You'd never be able to find one actor/actress who fit the character role so well that everyone would be pleased. ~shrugs~

Alrighty...finished Seduce the Darkness. Alien Huntress series comlete...well, until the next book that is.
I am now faced with the extremely difficult task of choosing which series to start next. I am stuck between Larissa Ione's Demonica series, or Jacquelyn Frank's Nightwalker series. (I actually have about 7 series to choose from...but of the 7, these are the two I am most excited to start, right in the moment.)
~ponders~ Well...I think I am going to go with...the Nightwalkers series. Yay! ~claps and runs to bedroom, scanning through obsene amount of books throughout the shelves and pulls Jacob free~ Woohoo!
