Woohoo! I just finished reading this book and...wow. I was never really one for murder mystery type novels, so I didn't know what I was going to think of this series. I honestly did have to push myself to read past the first few chapters, but Gena is such a magnificent writer that it didn't take me long to get into the swing of things. And I couldn't put the book down once Kyrin was thrown into the mix. I loved every character in this book. Even Atlanna en Arr. Each character just drew me in. I even got in on the action, trying to figure out in my mind who is the murderer and why? And then, when Mia's powers started showing up, I was like...Aha! She's part alien! So I patted myself on the back when Kyrin confirmed my suspicions...but must admit that when we found out Atlanna was her mother...my freakin' jaw damn near hit the floor! All in all, it was a great book, full of suspense, action, drama...and sexy aliens. What more do you need. I give it 4 stars out of 5!  |
